Samsung Electronics Co Ltd exhibited its robot cleaners including a see-through model at IFA 2012.

On the printed-circuit board (PCB) inside the cleaner, NXP Semiconductors NV's and Telechips Inc's chips were mounted. They seemed to be used for the control of the robot cleaner, etc.

Also, the cleaner has the circuit for a system that Samsung calls "Visionary Mapping Plus System." The system takes images with the cleaner's camera at a speed of 15fps and automatically creates a room map. Based on the map, the best route for cleaning the entire room is calculated. It is also possible to record the best route in the cleaner.

At the IFA, Samsung had demonstrations by using many robots. And the company emphasized the slimnesses of them.
