Shinoda Plasma Co Ltd and Fujitsu Frontech Ltd exhibited large displays mounted around pillars at Fujitsu Forum 2010, which took place from May 13 to 14, 2010, in Tokyo.

Fujitsu Frontech manufactured the displays based on Shinoda Plasma's "PTA (Plasma Tube Array)" display.

The displays were mounted on the curved surfaces of the pillars with a diameter of 1m. Each display measured 2 x 1m and was made by combining two displays measuring 1 x 1m.

The purpose of the exhibition was to see the market response to the display.

"Because of the flexibility of the PTA, the new display can be attached to existing pillars," Fujitsu Frontech said. "We expect that it will be used at railroad stations and public facilities."
