| [HIGHLIGHT] Prism sheet is used in BLU for enhancing brightness purpose of TFT LCD. Prism sheet utilize refraction and reflection of the light. Prism sheet refracts light within the viewing angle toward the viewer and reflects light outside the angle and recycles it until it exits at the proper angle. The effectiveness of using prism sheet can be maximized when 2 – 4 sheets crossed at 90 degrees are located between diffuser sheet and protector sheet in ordinary BLU. Prism sheet is dominated by 3M in world-wide market. |
