Japan Asia Group Constructs 3 Large-scale Solar Plants in Kagoshima

JAG Energy Co Ltd (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo), which is affiliated with Japan Asia Group Ltd, announced April 23, 2014, that it has completed the construction of three mega (large-scale) solar power plants in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

The three plants are "Shibushi Solar Way" in Shibushi City, "Kirishima Solar Way" in Kirishima City and "Higashikushira Solar Way" in Higashikushira-chou, each of which has a power generation capacity of about 1MW.

Shibushi Solar Way was constructed by Toko Electrical Construction Co Ltd, and its solar panels were manufactured by Toshiba Corp. Kirishima Solar Way and Higashikushira Solar Way were constructed by Tess Engineering Co Ltd, and S-Energy Co Ltd's solar panel was employed for them. All of the three plants use PV inverters manufactured by Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp (TMEIC).
