Solar Frontier K K and Chopro Co Ltd will build and operate a 29MW solar power plant on a site adjacent to Nagasaki Airport in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.

The two companies concluded an agreement on the construction and operation of the plant with the government of Nagasaki Prefecture and the Land Development Public Corporation of Nagasaki Prefecture. The plant will be the largest-capacity solar power plant in the prefecture.

Solar Frontier's CIS-based solar panel employed for the plant has anti-glare property and, thus, does not affect the operations of airplanes.
