Kyowa Exeo Corp installed mega-solar (large-scale solar) power generation facilities on the property of its Koushin Branch (Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture) and started to sell electricity as "Kose Solar Power Plant."

Kyowa Exeo had an opening ceremony at the site Dec 3, 2013. For the power plant, the company set up 4,434 solar panels on the Koushin Branch's property measuring about 22,700m2 to have an output power of about 1MW. To make the most of the limited space, the company installed about 3,000 solar panels on the roofs of parking lots whose capacity is about 360 cars in total in addition to panels on the roof of its building.

As part of its green technology-related business, Kyowa Exeo has been engaged in (1) the design and construction of solar power generation systems, (2) installation of their facilities including the establishment of operational systems and (3) power production based on the feed-in tariff (FIT) program in Japan.

Kyowa Exeo increased the number of its construction services for solar power generation facilities for the green technology-related business and built the new solar facilities for its power generation business, which was launched in 2012. As for the power generation business, the company has already started power generation at "Fuchu General Technology Center" (Fuchu City, Tokyo) in November 2012 and at "Shinpu Solar Power Plant" (Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture), which is the company's first mega-solar power plant, in July 2013.
