Yantouch, a Taiwan-based LED lighting apparatus maker, demonstrated a lighting system that changes the color of its light depending on the mental state of its user.

The demonstration took place at Photonics Festival in Taiwan 2012, a trade show that ran from June 19 to 21, 2012, in Taipei, Taiwan.

The system consists of (1) the "Jelly Series," Yantouch's LED lighting apparatus that can display 16 million colors, and (2) the "MindWave," NeuroSky Inc's headset capable of measuring brain waves.

"The color of the LED lamp changes, reflecting the state of mind," Yantouch said. "For example, when you are relaxed, its color is green."
