Nikkei Electronics Teardown Squad started to break down the "PlayStation Vita" (PS Vita), a portable game console that Sony Computer Entertainment Inc released Dec 17, 2011.

Looking at the case of the console, we found some screws used on it. There were at least four screws on its back and two screws on its bottom. They did not seem to be special screws. So, we removed them with a screwdriver.

It was so easy, we thought. However, no matter how hard we tried to oped the case, it did not open. Assuming that there were more screws used on the case, we searched it again.

Then, we found two screws under the cover that protects a port. We removed them and opened the case to look inside the PS Vita.
