Maroc Telecom, a leading telecom operator in Morocco, has appointed Huawei to upgrade its mobile packet core network using Huawei's advanced Intelligent Packet Network (IPN) 2.0 solution. This upgrade will allow Maroc Telecom to expand network capacity and enhance network traffic management, as well as enable the operator to provide advanced mobile broadband services.

Utilizing Huawei's industry-leading IPN 2.0 solution, Maroc Telecom will be able to take advantage of advanced functions such as intelligent monitoring of data and customer usage trends via the Service Usage Reporter (SUR) feature. In addition, the IPN 2.0 solution offers the industry's largest capacity packet switch (PS) equipment, and is capable of more effective bandwidth management due to its powerful Policy & Charging Rules Function (PCRF), enabling it to support advanced mobile broadband services for end-users.
