Toko Inc demonstrated its non-contact power feeding module at CEATEC JAPAN 2009.

By using an electromagnetic induction-type non-contact power feeding module that it is mass-producing, the company lighted a lamp in a water tank and moved a toy. The output of the module is about 1.5W.

Toko has already shipped more than10 million units of non-contact power feeding modules and coils for cordless phones and so forth. Currently, the transmission efficiency between the coils is 93%. Even when evaluated with a system that consumes a power of 2.5W, the efficiency was 84%, the company said.
