Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Wuxi), a joint testing facility formed by Fujitsu Quality Laboratory Ltd and the Wuxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, has begun operation. The laboratory is aimed at providing quality assurance services to manufacturers of electrical and electronic components and other parts in China.
Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Wuxi) will offer a range of technical services in the areas of quality assessments, material analysis, failure analysis, and quality improvement, as well as training and consulting services. In so doing, Fujitsu Quality Laboratory and the Wuxi Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau will support China's component manufacturers, including local affiliates of Japanese companies, in raising the quality and reliability of their products.
The facility will also contribute to improving the level of technical sophistication in quality assessments, quality analysis, and product assessments as well as the level of quality management and quality assurance.
Additionally, by offering quality testing and reliability assessment services to Japanese manufacturers that use Chinese-made components, Fujitsu Quality Laboratory (Wuxi) will help the manufacturers reduce time and cost on the quality-monitoring cycle for parts sourced in China.
