CEATEC JAPAN 2007, which ran from October 2 to October 6, attracted a record-high 205,859 visitors. It was the 8th event since 2000 when it was renamed CEATEC. The number of exhibitors increased dramatically to 895 companies/organizations, compared with 807 companies/organizations for the event last year.
Last year, there was a rain storm all over Japan before and after Friday, when the largest number of visitors was expected, causing troubles like disruption of the traffic. Because it was not affected by such kind of troubles this year, a one-day record was renewed on October 5, when it was visited by 52,194 people.
Products such as a Ultraslim TV with a thickness of less than 4 cm attracted the visitors' attentions. EATEC JAPAN 2008 will run from September 30 (Tue) to October 4 (Sat), 2008.
