Smart Solar Begins Construction of 2.6MW Solar Plant in Kumamoto

Smart Solar Corp had a ceremony to pray for safe construction of a 2.6MW solar power plant in Nagomi-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, July 20, 2017, and started construction of the plant.

The total solar panel capacity of the plant is 2.6MW, and the plant will transmit 1.96MW of electricity to a power grid. It is expected to generate about 2,880,000kWh of electricity per year.

Smart Solar is responsible for engineering and construction supervision, and Kandenko Co Ltd provides EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services for the plant. The plant is scheduled to be completed in March 2018.
