Smart Solar to Construct 2.5MW Solar Plant in Kumamoto

Smart Solar Corp (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) started construction of a 2.565MW (solar panel capacity) solar power plant in Yamaga City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, and had a ceremony to pray for the safe construction of the plant Nov 15, 2017.

The plant, "Kumamoto Yamaga Solar Park B," is scheduled to be completed in June 2018. It is expected to generate about 2,798,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 8,745 households, per year, eliminating 1,553.1t of CO2.

The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of Trina Solar Ltd and Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, respectively. Kandenko Co Ltd provides EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services.
